MALE WAXING

WHAT IS A MANZILIAN?

The Manzilian, also known as Male Waxing, Men’s Brazilian, Male Brazilian. I Offer a variety of Manzilian services.

Skincare, grooming, and bikini waxing are no longer gender-specific! It doesn’t matter your shape, size, or gender. Waxing is for everyone. The Manzilian is becoming a popular trend - it leaves you feeling smooth and groomed and less maintenance than shaving. It often helps men to feel more comfortable with their naked bodies and means they are ready to impress at all times.

Men tend to shy away from waxing because they think it could be too painful, or too embarrassing. But with the popularity of waxing and the development of new waxes, many men are opting for a smooth look. I am fully trained & experienced in men's waxing, and understand the needs of body waxing for men. I provide a safe and clean environment and my goal is to make you as comfortable as possible.

I do male waxing of the full body, or you can pick and choose which body parts need the hair removal.

We will first give you privacy to undress from the waist down; a hygiene wipe will be provided and a towel to place over the area being waxed when you are ready. The Waxing Specialist is experts at what she does and strives to get the service completed as fast and efficient as possible.
e expect all of our clients to understand that this is a professional setting and no-nonsense will be tolerated. If the waxing specialist feels someone is deliberately trying to get an erection for sexual gratification, the service will be stopped immediately, and the client will no longer be welcome at
Javanese Yoga Wellness & Aesthetics.

***All Hair removal services are rendered professionally and should never be confused with anything sexual.***

ANSWERS TO SOME QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE!

Question: Does waxing hurt?

Answer: We won’t lie to you, it may hurt, but it all depends on your pain threshold. Do not drink alcohol to avoid pain. It is a blood thinner and will increase your chance of bleeding and bruising during your service, as well as tightening your hair follicle making your wax more painful. Typically the first wax is the most painful, but we recommend taking IBuprofen 30-45 min before your appointment to put you at ease.

Question: Why not shave?

Answer: Shaving stimulates potential hair growth and can strengthen the hair follicle. Shaving also cuts the hair at the hair shaft, which not only re-grows with a stubbly feel it can also itch; shaving allows the hair to re-grow the next day or, in some cases, the same day. With waxing, most clients return every 4-6 weeks to keep themselves feeling clean and groomed.

Question: I have previously waxed and found my skin became spotty, and I had some ingrown hairs?

Answers: Some people are more prone to ingrown hairs than others. However, regular exfoliation and use of our aftercare products will minimize the chances of skin reactions or ingrown hairs.

Question: What can I do to prevent ingrown hairs or bumps?

Answers: We suggest 3 steps to ensure the best waxing results. 1. Exfoliate starting 2-3 days after your waxing service. 2. Apply an ingrown serum twice daily to clean the hair follicle from the inside out. 3. Moisturize. Exfoliation and serums can tend to dry out skin, and your skin must be hydrated to allow the hair to pop through and prevent breakage during waxing. We carry all products needed to keep the area free of bumps or reactions!

Question: How long does intimate waxing take?

Answer: This does depend on the density of the hair growth; the treatment can take between 30 minutes to an hour.

Question: What are the possible side effects of waxing, and how can they be minimized?

Answer: Although we cannot predict or guarantee who may react, most clients do not experience reactions beyond redness and minor irritation. Please ensure you follow our strict aftercare advice to avoid any avoidable problems.

Question: How long should the hair be before I have a wax?

Answer: We recommend a minimum of three weeks of hair growth after shaving. Please do not need to trim as shorter hairs are harder to remove. I do not recommend trimming as I wax any length without trimming it by using advanced techniques.

Question: How long will the intimate wax last?

Answer: Everybody’s hair grows at a different speed; typically, it takes about 3 or 4 waxes to sync up hair cycles; at that point, you can expect to stay smooth for about 2 weeks before seeing hair growth. Between four to six weeks is the average time in between waxing.

Question: Is it true that over time I will not have to wax anymore?

Answer: This is unlikely. However, the hair will start to grow back finer and start to thin out over time.

Question: Will I be wearing anything when I have an intimate wax?

Answer: You will be given a towel to cover yourself with; the towel is then used to keep you covered. When the waxing begins, the towel will be removed, and this applied in full Manzilian service. We require a shirt to be worn while receiving a Manzilian service.
For Speedo line will be wearing disposable undies.

Speedo Line- Removing the hair just around the edges of a standard speedo bottom.
